The capitalised terms in this endorsement shall have the same meaning as the capitalised terms defined in Section 2 (DEFINITIONS) of the Policy.
This endorsement contains Condition Precedents. A breach or non-observance of a Condition Precedent shall mean that no payment or indemnity will be provided under the Policy.
It is hereby noted that General Exclusion 4 - TREATMENT OF A MINOR is cancelled.
1. It is a Condition Precedent to the Insurer's liability under the Policy that a DBS (England and Wales), PVG (Scotland) Access NI (Northern Ireland) disclosure is held by those working with anyone aged under 16 or who is deemed to be a vulnerable adult.
2. It is a Condition Precedent to the Insurer's liability under the Policy that when it is considered to be appropriate parental/guardian consent should be obtained. This does not apply when the client is deemed to be capable of making their own decision in respect of their health and wellbeing.
The Insurer shall not be liable for any claim, loss, liability, Defence Costs, costs or expenses arising out of, caused by, resulting from, in consequence of, in connection with or in any way involving reports made to Social Services (other than ethical disclosure).
All other terms, conditions, limitations and exclusions of the Policy remain unaltered.
